Owen Lee is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, with more than 30 years experience in the food business. A native of Philadelphia, Pa., Owen has been interviewed on “A Chef’s Table,” a nationally syndicated radio program on NPR and has made numerous appearances on TV. Owen formerly owned and operated a catering business called “Uncommon Catering” and Cibucán, a Latin American style tapas restaurant in Philadelphia.
Park Plates is a casual dining restaurant located just 20 minutes north of Center City Philadelphia, in the quiet and artistic neighborhood in Elkins Park. It is the creative culinary home of Chef Owen Lee. With extensive experience working in the fast paced Philadelphia food scene, Owen decided it was time to get back to his roots and create a menu and dining space that was more attuned to his life experience and new interests. The Park Plates menu offers imaginative fare inspired by the Mediterranean and Middle East foods.
